Toilets (including disabled access)

Toilet facilities for travellers and visitors with disabilities are located in the Arrivals and Departures terminals.

Banking

Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are conveniently located in the Arrivals and Departure terminals.

Baby change rooms
Baby change rooms, equipped with change table and nappy bins are located within both the Arrivals and Departure terminals.

Car rental
Arrangements for car hire can be made at the individual rental company service desks located in the Arrivals Hall.

Children's play areas
Games machines are located throughout the Departures Terminal.

Baggage Weigh system

Passengers can pre weigh their baggage prior to check in, ensuring they are not overweight. The bag weigh machine is located inside the Departures Terminal

Disabled parking
Disabled spaces are availabe in our car park.  These are clearly marked and reserved for cars displaying a valid ‘disability’ card.

Flight Information Data Screens (FIDS)
FIDS screens are located throughout the Arrivals and Departures terminals and detail up-to-the-minute flight information.

Eating and drinking
Avalon Airport now has a wide variety of food and beverage options. The newly opened cafe has a grab and go section, extensive hot food menue and a fully licensed bar within the Departures Terminal.

Internet facilities
There is a high speed, Everywhere Internet kiosk located in the Departures Terminal.

Everywhere Internet also provides a Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) connection for those with enabled devices.

Oversize baggage
All oversized bags can be collected from the Oversized Baggage Door located to the left of the baggage carousel in the Arrivals Terminal.

Postal box
There is an Australia Post Box located outside the Departures Terminal, which is cleared daily.

Public telephones
Public pay phones are available in the Departures and Arrivals terminals.  

International phone cards can be purchased from the News Travels outlet located in the Departures Terminal.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the terminals.  Designated smoking areas are located outside the Arrivals and Departures terminals.

Airport Management request that all cigarette butts are placed in the bins provided.

Trolleys
Luggage trolleys are available on the Departure roadway and in the Arrivals Hall. Each trolley costs $2.  

Transport
Buses, Taxis, Car Hire, Rail and Shuttle Bus information desks are located within the Arrivals Hall.
