You may be aware of media reports in relation to Avalon Airport being closed this morning. Please be aware that Avalon Airport is open, business is as usual and we do not expect any disruption to flights or access into or out of the Airport.
Response to security alert

Follwing today’s security alert at Avalon Airport, Avalon Airport Management enacted its hightened security procedures as a precaution. It has been determined that the threat was a hoax. Despite this, hightened levels of security will remain for the time being. All airport operations remain unaffected.
