The draft Avalon Airport Environment Strategy (AES) 2013-2018 communicates the commitment of Avalon Airport to manage environmental issues arising from airport operations. This strategy has been prepared with consideration of the draft Avalon Airport Master Plan.

 

This AES supersedes the previous strategy (2007-2012) and will commence once approved by the Department of Defence.

Public Comment Period

The draft AES is now available to customers and the public for feedback. The public comment period commenced on 3 June 2013 and closes on 31 August 2013.

 

The draft AES can be downloaded for free from the Avalon Airport website; please see the above link. Further a printed version of the AES can be reviewed at the City of Greater Geelong offices at 100 Brougham Street Geelong during office hours.

The public are invited to provide comment on the draft AES. These comments must be received by 31 August 2013.
